Church camp! - 16-19June'07

My first church camp in Light of Christ City Church (LOC)~

THE ROOM

It was held in a golf resort in JB. Nice place with a nice bedroom..

With 2 separate cubicles for shower and toilet bowl.

The worship and prayer..

See the guy in solo and the red jacket girl? They are a couple!!One is a worship leader, the other is a back up singer. They took a long time to be together.

Waiting produces sweet fruit.

The Sermon

By the guest speaker - Pastor Barry

He is very funny, straightforward and God-loving.

He was a high ranking officer in the army, one of the tops in Singapore. However, he heard God's calling to become pastor and serve Him. So, yeap, he gave up a very very high paying job to become a pastor.

The PASTORS

Pastor Daniel is our church's vicar. His sermons are filled with punches and memorable. He is a witty and smart person. He was from RJ and has a very high IQ score.

Yet, he was also called to be pastor and thus gave up his tertiary education.

Pastor Joseph is our youth pastor. He is also a very witty guy who always crack jokes that make us *sweat -_-'' !! God bless people with wit to be pastors?

KL House

This is my house in KL..Ok, it's my dad's. Any ol' how, its my first time visting it. It looks like hall 8/9 in NTU.

One room flat with no furnishings.

The kitchen.

Nothing much to say about a small house. We just rented it out and hence i will not be back for a long long time.

The view is nice and refreshing! Cool natural air.

It's nice sitting at the balcony to read a book, drink a cup of tea, view the scenery and reflect on life.Aw~~

14May-17May'07 : Kuala Lumpur

Went on a spontaneous trip to Kuluar Lumpur with my parents. We stayed at this Mine's resort on the first night. It's a nice look alike bali kind of resort but it is at the outskirts of KL city.

Walked around the resort..and its shopping centre..The resort encircled a lake and has a man-made beach swimming pool.

The sunset is nice..

After one night, I drove in KL!! hOrrrendous! Its a highly pressured and stressed situation.

Went to the famous shopping malls, the in house theme park. I bought manymanymany shoes at cheap prices!! *WOohOo*

Went to their KL towers. It's free..Soo there's a looong queue We walked on the bridge and saw the whole city. But it's not very high up and spectacular. Later then we realise that it's another tower that you can go very high up but u got to pay.

Went for this nature tour that includes tea plantation, highest point, some trek in the swamp. Its a day tour and all the ppl are couples except us! ;P Cameron is a good couple getaway!
